Ingredients

500g shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon chili powder

Salt and pepper to taste

8 small corn tortillas

1 cup shredded red cabbage

1 avocado, sliced

½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

1 lime, cut into wedges

¼ cup creamy avocado sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, smoked paprika, ground cumin, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.

Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss until they are well coated with the marinade. Allow them to marinate for 15-20 minutes.

While the shrimp is marinating, heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

Once hot, place the shrimp on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are pink and opaque (cooking time may vary depending on size).

Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side or until pliable.

To assemble the tacos, place a handful of shredded red cabbage on each tortilla, followed by the grilled shrimp, a few slices of avocado, and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro.

Drizzle each taco with the creamy avocado sauce and serve with lime wedges on the side.
